SPECS is honored to receive the 2018 Precast Concrete Association (PCA) Bridge Design Award of Excellence for the Temescal Hills Drive Bridge in Riverside County, CA.
According to the PCA jury, the program attracted a large number of exceptional entries this year. The awards were made in recognition of creativity and imagination in the structural, functional, aesthetic, sustainable and economic design of concrete bridges, as well as consideration for innovative construction methods. After deliberations, the jury selected 8 winners to receive Awards of Excellence.
The Temescal Hills Drive Bridge was one of two entry bridges in the Terramor community in Temescal Hills. The structure spans the Temescal Wash, which conveys significant drainage and serves as an animal habitat corridor on Riverside County’s MSHCP network.
