Horrocks Engineers set out to design this 44-ft span precast concrete arch bridge over the American Fork River as part of a joint venture between UDOT and the Town of Highland, UT. The structure needed to feature a soft-bottomed invert, and the window for construction was limited from late Summer bids to early Fall completion. SPECS worked with Horrocks to create design submittals that met the project intent, and Dry Creek Structures was the contractor who built the foundations, set the precast, and completed all grading and paving to finish the project. SPECS is pleased to have partnered with CRI to supply the reinforcing and with Geneva Pipe to supply the precast concrete bridge components.
