SPECS Delivers 3 Golf Cart Tunnels in 4 Months

SPECS is happy to play a part in the Argent Management Fairways master-planned community. The beautiful development is bordered by the Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon. SPECS provided the design and brought the plans through approval with the City of Beaumont. The contractor was able to install all 3 tunnels without having to disappoint any golfers with closures. K&L successfully completed the tunnels in rapid succession with excavation, foundation construction, precast installation and backfill. The new residential development site is interwoven among the Morongo Golf courses, and it was clear Argent’s goal as master developer was to keep their golfing neighbors happy.

 SPECS worked with Jensen Precast and Magna Trucking to manufacture and deliver nearly 90 pieces of precast. The final tunnel posed a difficult install as it had an existing sewer line overtop. The sewer line had to be excavated and reinforced while the tunnels were set underneath. K&L made the process look easy by having the piece craned down onto the foundation and pushed slowly in place with equipment that they had on site.
